This Ariens snow thrower is built in the United States, but with a Chinese engine at a lower cost. It has a 208cc engine LCT Force Storm. Snowblower is robust, as all the Ariens with all metal construction with the exception of the slide. Its 20 "wide design has a single forward and without electric start. But because the device is so small and light is actually faster, only backwards, to find other people with gearshift lever, turn around, gasping hard. Moreover, since the device tight, only 20 "wide canpull it out of the garage from the back with out moving cars. As far as electric start goes, if it don't start with the pull cord then its time for a tune up; small engine easy to pull start. Purchase price was 9 CAD at home depot.
